I don't see anything wrong with a "program" as long as the program is a vehicle for the gifts to be used. For instance in feeding the poor, yes its great to be able to just spontaneously give some cans of food....but can the poor, disabled widow really plan meals for her children around a occasional can of beans? But if that woman knows that on Tuesday so and so or such and such ministry will come by with a bag of food, and spend time talking to her and praying with her, and check up on her during the week and be there to answer the phone if she needs help during the week then the gift of generosity can truly meet the need of the poor......as compared to the feel good when I remember handout. _________________ Lady Jubilee
